Protein Oatmeal

A classic breakfast staple packed with protein and fibre to keep you full and fuel your day!  Also way better tasting and better for you than the instant flavoured Oatmeal Packs.  You can alternatively use Oat Bran for increased protein and fibre.  
Calories: 274 Protein: 21g Carbs 36g Fat: 7.5g


Ingredients: 
- 1/2 cup Oatmeal or Oat Bran.
- 1/2 apple, chopped
- 1/2 scoop protein powder (any flavour would work)
- 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1 tsp Stevia
Optional: Other fruit, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, powdered peanut butter, etc.

Directions: *for prep the night before*
1. Mix together oatmeal/oat bran, protein powder, and stevia.  
2. Add in almond milk and mix.  The mixture should look liquidy or soup-like, if it's not, add some water.  Add in apples/desired fruit and put in an airtight container overnight.  The liquid will absorb overnight.
3. Cook for 2-3 minutes (mix halfway through) until desired consistency is reached.  Enjoy!
