Hearty Turkey Chilli

Very simple any day meal when you are looking for some comfort food!  Make it in the slow cooker so it is ready when you get home!
Per Approx 120g:  Calories: 336  Fat: 6g  Protein: 31g  Carbs: 41g



Ingredients:
1 package of lean ground turkey 
1 large can of canned tomatoes
1 can of black beans
1 cup of frozen corn
1 red pepper
1 cup chopped mushrooms
3 garlic cloves
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1/4 cup of tomato paste
2 tbsp of chilli pepper
1/8 tsp of cayenne pepper
1 tsp of pepper
1 tsp of paprika


Directions:
1.  Fry the ground turkey, garlic and onion until brown.  Drain fat from pan.

2.  Add mushrooms, peppers and corn, fry for 3-5 minutes.  Add canned beans and tomatoes, use a spatula to roughly chop up tomatoes.  Add spices.

3.  The recipe can be frozen for a later date or toss all in the slow cooker on high for 4 hours or on low for 7 hours.
